Checking out a new park nearby.

Hank will gobble up some Chick Fil A fries, but won't touch baby food. What the heck?

Enjoying our homemade popsicles!

A great weekend in the back yard.
Charley supervising with a popsicle.

 Lots of splashing together.

Hard at work helping Dad clean out the garden boxes. Her mittens make great work gloves too.

Ain't no party like a splash pad party!
Charley modeling her party favor.

One of Charley's mom's day out friends had a birthday party at a splash pad. It was our first time to go to a splash pad and we were missing out on a lot of fun! Now we know, we'll be back.

Potty Training Charley
Charley kept pulling her diapers off when she woke in the morning or from a nap. She also complains about them sometimes, and likes going on the big potty well enough. So she liked the idea of getting her very own big girl underwear. She definitely likes wearing them, but we have a long way to go before she can actually wear them all the time. She does well at the house, but probably will still do better to have pull ups on when we go somewhere. To be continued...
A trip to Grandma and PopPop Rowland's house!

We checked another one of their neighborhood parks. Once again, it was waaaaay cooler than ours ;-)

Charley loves to give Kramer his treats, then watches until he finishes every last bite.

Park playing

Hank is big enough for the baby swing!

The highlight of Charley's trip was finding a neon green wiffle ball.

Happy Hank
"Can you see my new teeth?"

Pool upgrade!
Now Hank can get in on the splashing too. We're finally into some summer weather so it's coming in handy.

Teething Hank
We've had a few rough nights with fever and not eating and general crankiness, it's not like Hank to be so miserable. So we decided to take him to the doctor. They said his fever was higher than should be with teeth, but he didn't look like he had an infection. Sure enough I found a tiny nub of a tooth on top yesterday afternoon. He's still not back to normal, but at least the guessing game is over. Now if only he'd eat! At least he's back to smiling.

My little helper at the doctor's office.
The return of the pen!
It's not like it will contain Hank this go round since Charley likes to come and go as well. But it at least offers a soft place to play for both of them.
Funny Charley
